World Prettiest Woman

Born in March 13 1989 in Texas, US . Born 4 weeks prematurely …Her birth weight was 1.219Kg.

Gratuated from the Texas University majoring in communication studies.

Named Elizabeth Ann Velàsquez and known as “the World Ugliest Woman” … Miss Velasquez was born with a syndrome so rare only two other person in the world are known to have it and she’s a one eye blind.

Velasquez’s life changed at the age of 17 when she saw herself in a Youtube video titled “ The ugliest woman in the world” and the comments were so cruel such as “Do the world a favor and put this gun to your head” but instead of taking shelter in tears she chose to be happy and strong and realize that this syndrome is a blessing to get her into the public speaking/inspirationnal world .

Lizzie became a celebrity in December 5 2013 when her speech in TED Talk Austin make the hit and inspired many people to realize that real beauty is the inner and being strong and confident is much more important than looking like a barbie ….

“Lizzie has such an inner strength and sense of humor that anyone can relate to her, we all have difficulties in life, but nothing compared to what she has been through. Her positive attitude elevates the spirit of any person in the world”, said Sara Bordo.

“I am no defect nor am I a Halloween costume. I'm a young adult who in this photo was standing in front of 10,000 people encouraging them that they are ENOUGH! Judgments and hateful comments fade within the hour. Self-respect and self-confidence is what lasts a lifetime” Said Lizzie.

Lizzie was ,still and will always be the symbol of strength and self-confidance. She inspired people. She helped people to see beyond the body and beyond the face. She’s to me the World “Prettiest” Woman.

Sound of silence

Silence. It can be the most complicated language in the world. Unspoken words are the hardest to say and understand. Rare are the people who can understand my silence and translate it. When I'm angry I tend to remain silent instead of yelling or arguing. Many people would consider that as cowardice or weakness, but for me and for others, who are very few, we know that's the bravest thing you can do.

I got in troubles before for my silence, with some teachers, sometimes with my parents. I even faced misunderstandings with friends because they didn't get it. They didn't get ME. Silence is my way of calming down. My way of figuring things out. My way of expressing.

All people can be silent, but for what purpose, that's what makes the difference.

Listen more and speak less. That way silence will be your own magical crystal ball. Through it, you will see things clearer and from a different perspective. Then you will treat people differently and see life differently.

Read more and speak less. It will open your mind to different worlds. Hidden worlds. Magical worlds. Worlds you didn't know about before.

Listen, read, look around and look deeper and explore. Then and only then, you will discover the value of silence and appreciate it and maybe find yourself and know who you are.

You Are Made of Dreams

Have you ever wondered what makes you Human?

What make you a Human being are your dreams. Yes, you read right….

You are surrounded with losers but you are not of them; you have dreams.

You are a dreamer.

And as you grow older you become more aware of the hardships that present themselves at every given opportunity.

But you strive and you have to strive until you pave the path to your goals.

I know it’s hard and sometimes everything gets obscure and depressing but the dream lives. Sometimes those losers try to load you with negative thoughts, they tell you that you’re unrealistic and that you will never make it… They poison you.

They tell you that life was never meant for dreamers. But you don’t believe them and you shall never believe them, instead, shove all of them out of your life.

And that’s when they’ll start hovering around, alarmed with your potential success. They will dig holes under your feet but make sure you’re standing on concrete so that no matter how hard they tried they will never succeed.

You have a dream. And you will make it come true.

Repeat it every night before you fall asleep: I will make it. I am the one. I can do it.

Where to get English books

Number one (English) readers problem in Tunisia: Where to get books ?

Today, I’m going to show you where I get most of my English books from. English books are harder to find than Arabic or French books, so this article can be pretty useful.

1- The old library in England street:
This library has some amazing books sometimes. I got “Life as we knew it” by Suzanne Beth Pfeffer from there and I absolutely enjoyed it. But, it’s all a matter of luck. Sometimes, they have the greatest books you can imagine. Sometimes, they have some random books. But it’s so worth a visit. Besides, it looks amazing. The old book, the smell of old books, the wood… It’s just awesome.

2- The library behind Palmarium Mall:
Okay, this one is pretty interesting. This library has some English books, but they are not famous, but that doesn’t mean they are not good. A friend of mine got a book called “Soul Murder” from there and she loved it. However, the owner of the library promised to bring some Stephenie Perkins books and some amazing titles. They are not here yet, but we’ll keep you updated.

3- Al Kitab library:
My absolute favorite. Yes, it can be a bit pricey, but the books are totally worth it. 99% of my books are from there. They have amazing YA books like Vampire Academy series, Divergent, Percy Jackson, John Green’s books, classics… You name it, they have it. The books they recently brought are extremely interesting. You can visit their website by clicking HERE.
